New Port Richey Painting and Wallpaper Installation Removal: Once you have chosen your colors and textures, our professional painters will quickly and efficiently transform your space according to the pre-established design you have selected. You can expect their work to be of the highest quality: clean lines between walls and ceilings, evenly applied paint as well as straight and level wallpapers. Our trained and skilled painters have plenty of experience in painting homes all over the New Port Richey area and they will ensure that any hole or imperfection in the walls to be covered with either paint or wallpaper will be properly plastered and sanded, then thoroughly cleaned before any paint or wallpaper is applied.

New Port Richey Ceiling and Walls Repair: We offer ceiling and wall repairs for those clients who wish to freshen up a room but do not necessarily require the whole space to be painted. Holes and cracks in your walls and ceilings are unsightly and often make a really nice room look old and poorly maintained. Damage resulting from nails, water leaks or simple wear and tear can easily be repaired by filling them up with plaster, sanding then painting over them with a paint matching the one originally on the wall, which makes refreshing a room both cost and time efficient, with little inconvenience.

Residential Pressure Washing & Maintenance Cleaning

New Port Richey Pressure Washing & Maintenance Cleaning:

The team at Ken Sisco Painting LLC is well educated in the safe and efficient use of pressure washers. Wood, concrete, metal, brick: if you need it cleaned quickly then Ken Sisco Painting LLC can get your moderate to large scale New Port Richey pressure washing project done with precision and professionalism. We have some of the most powerful pressure washing equipment available; combine that with a well-trained technician and it is easy to see why we get calls from people looking for quick, accurate and safe service.

Time and the elements will coat any surface with a resilient layer of dirt and grime. To give your New Port Richey home the sparkling appeal it had when it was new get in contact with our team. With many years of experience you can rely on us to get the job done right.

Will pressure washing damage my wood? If you wash too long on a single area, then yes, pressure washing can mark or even scar your deck or wood paneling, cutting the wood in places that may not be noticeable at first. Think of this: extreme high-pressure water is used to cut steel in the automotive industry. Granted, the pressure washers used in exterior remodeling are not as powerful but it gets the point across: water under intense pressure is a very powerful thing.

Fortunately, during the course of our years in the business, we have refined our skills with pressure washing and know how to apply just the right level of exposure to leave your wood deck or paneling clean but not damaged. When it is done correctly, pressure washing can be highly effective at removing the most resistant grime from your deck, leaving your New Port Richey deck or exterior, looking fresh and clean.

Every time we do outside work we also perform pressure washing services. We always use a special fungicide cleaner first. These services include:

Simply put, color affects mood. Red, yellow, and orange are considered the warm colors which incite happy, excitable moods and stimulation. They're great for offices for that reason. Blue, green, and purple are called the cool colors because they're relaxing and peaceful. Think bedroom and den. The light colors, like beige or any off white are spacious and uplifting. Perfect for the Doctor's office. Dark colors make rooms look smaller and are depressing. Bold colors are appealing while whites reflect light, but beware, they get dirty pretty easily.

Can I paint over wall covering?

Don't do anything for at least 2 or 3 weeks, and when you do clean, make sure you use a cleaner that won't destroy your paint. Read all labels for directions for your cleaner, make sure it is properly diluted and practice cleaning first on a small unnoticeable area.

Does it matter what type of brush I use?

Absolutely. Not only does it matter what type and size brush you use, it even matters if you should USE a brush AT ALL. In many cases, not only is using a roller or a sprayer easier, but it will provide better results than a brush, which can drip or blotch. Frankly it depends on the thickness of the paint, the texture of the surface, and even the weather.

Can I paint over my vinyl siding or do I have to take it all down?

Yes, you can paint over vinyl siding. Not only is it cheaper and easier than replacing vinyl siding, painting over vinyl siding can look great too if you use the right paint. It can change the whole appearance of the house, you can do it more than once, and it provides quite a unique look if done properly.

How do we protect your home and property?

Ken Sisco Paint goes above and beyond to protect your home and/or property throughout the duration of the project. More than just a drop cloth, that can easily move around and expose surfaces, we use top of the line Hand-Masker film and Tape dispensers to cover your property from top to bottom including appliances, fixtures, etc. in order to ensure a quick and effective post-job clean-up.

What should I do to prepare my home?

Our policies in regard to interior painting:

1. We ask that small items that may be in our planned work areas be removed from room.
2. Heirlooms, jewelry, money, knick-knacks, precision electronics, weapons be stowed in a secure place you would have control over. 3. We will move furniture, beds and larger furniture items. This is for your safety and ours.
4. Children and Pets should be kept from going in work areas to prevent pets of possibly being accidental stepped on, or their stepping into trays with paint, having hair cling on painted areas, and potentially playfully pestering worker(s) while doing job.

We ask the above from our customers, so job goes smoothly without any accidents or incidents for your pet’s sake and workers.

Sand, Sand, & Sand Some More

Any surface you are going to paint on has got to be flat. It literally cannot be flat enough. The slightest ripple or texture can cause an annoying seam that will nag at you for years to come. When you think you've sanded enough, sand it once more, seriously. Then completely inspect it, make sure all dust is removed, apply a coat, wait and inspect before proceeding.

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

A dirty work area is never a good thing unless you are a pig farmer. When it comes to painting, a clean, organized work area is mandatory. Spilled drinks or smudges can destroy all of your hard work, loose garbage can blow into a wall, and the last thing that you want is to get moisture or dirt between the wall and the paint you just spent all of that time sanding.

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

Buy More Than You Need

While we have a formula for painting a room, we do this professionally and we keep large stocks, paint color mixtures on record, and distributors that can make almost any paint. As you are doing this yourself and won't likely do it too often, you should buy enough to allow for mistakes, AND to allow for touch-ups down the road. A new coat of paint can peel or chip, and you might not find that mixture you chose at a later date if the hardware store doesn't carry or make it anymore.

Buy More Than You Need

Tape Is Your Friend

And it can save you from making annoying, time-consuming, and even costly mistakes. Tape all corners and seams, sills, anything where you want a crisp even line, that way when your brush goes out of bounds, you don't get a smudge, when you remove the tape, your line will be perfect. Be careful when removing that tape too. And use a tarp over the entire room. You'd be amazed how paint can travel away from where you are working.
